Battle report: Revenge against the Death Guard!

Ave Dominus Nox!

The day has come, the 9th company will avenge the lose of the last game against the Death Guard.

Army:

Night Lords (NL):

1 Contemptor (Freddy) in Pod

Death Guard (DG):

Typhon
3 Deathshrouds
1 Terminator Squad
2 Tactical Squad
1 Support Squad (plasma gun)
2 Contemptor Dreadgnouths

Deployment:

My Night Lords win the first turn on this game, they deployed before the Death Guard on the left flank: Breacher squad in front line, night raptor behind them. Tactical squad in the middle in a small bunker. As usual, Freddy was in his pod, ready to join the fight. But he wasn't alone, the centurion and terminator were with him in a teleporter room. Finally, the terror squad infiltrates on the right flank, eager to kill some Death Guard.

The Death Guard deployed on their right flank, willing to take head on my Breacher. both of the tactical squad were on the middle with Typhon and his bodyguards.

 Turn 1: First turn was fast, my NL was out of range to shoot the DG. They still shoot some member of the support squad. Freddy comes on the right ready to fight the tactical squad.
DG advance on my position, shooting some Breachers.

Turn 2: The real fight began slowly but with a lot of blood: the terror squad kills a tactical squad except the sergeant and the DG kill my breacher leaving two members in a ruin.

Guess who's coming?

Turn 3: The fight continue to intensify with the teleportation of the NL terminators and the advance of the raptors.
The charge of the raptor kills the DG support squad. Terror squad kills half of the second tactical squad and Freddy move towards Typhon to block him.
The DG began to have difficulties to fight backs and they send the contemptor to kill the raptor. 

Turn 4: My NL pushed their advantage with an assault from Freddy who kills the remaining survivors of the tactical squad. My terminator decide to take their chance against a contemptor destroying him at the cost of two of their number.
DG starts to regroup their troup at the middle of their line but the situation was difficult. The second contemptor decided to charge my terminator, but despite killing two more terminators, he was destroy as well.

Turn 5: Victory was almost mine, I wa eager to finish for good the last DG. My remaining terminators and raptor make a move to assault the DG terminators, the last force I need to take care of.
At the end of the turn, all the terminators and raptors was dead except my Centurion. The game was as good as over and Typhon with a score of Deathshroud fight for their life against Freddy.

 

Turn 6: The end game was fast, the last marine the lonely sergeant was executed by the terror squad and typhon and the remaining Deathshroud began a strategic retreat to avoid complete destruction.

Result: Night Lords victory!
